A casa mia ho un problema di pressione nel senso che posso aprire solo un rubinetto alla volta e mentre ne sono aperti 2 contemporaneamente viene pochissima acqua stessa cosa rubinetto esterno in giardino. Posso risolvere il mio problema installando questa pompa? Praticamente prima avevo un riduttore di pressione e l' ho tolto perché pensavo mi dasse problemi e quindi ho messo un tronchetto in ottone ma non ho risolto il mio problema purtroppo, se questa pompa dovesse servire va installata al posto di questo tronchetto che è collegato al tubo proveniente dal contatore e poi collega tutto l' impianto domestico?

You are looking for a pump that is good for residential applications. Something that isn’t noisy. Well, that’s why I bought the Scala2. Let me tell you. It was nice, while it lasted. Purchased in January of 2024 it performed for almost three and half months. That’s months, not years, and definitely not decades. Just recently it sprung a leak and it was a gusher! My first response was that an o-ring needed replacing. I had a plumber come in. He was sorry to say the problem was much more serious and that he had seen many Scala2 with the same problem. I live just outside Toronto, in Ontario, Canada. My assumption after three months of ownership was that Grundfos Canada would give me a new pump or perhaps refund my money. Care to guess what really happened? The Grundfos service rep from Oakville told me, “If the engineers want to find an excuse to void the warranty, they will.” The sad part of this story is that this is my second, (yes second!) Grundfos pump. I used the MQ series pump for almost ten years. The scala2 was supposed to be the upgrade. Think you’ll be rewarded for customer loyalty with Grundfos? Think again! So if you’ve made it this far, it’s time to reveal my advantage. The Jeff advantage. I’m one of the lucky people who can laugh-off $2000. $2000 will not ruin my month. Heck it will barely ruin my week, but for you, yes you… the hard working guy or girl who saves pennies and requires value, and who absolutely cannot afford to lose $2000, then your big brother Jeff is here for you. What about the 24v overload light being red the one just to the left of the 5v sensor, what does that mean?

Dear Grundfos, if the power is off and back on, do I need to press any button on the pump to start or it's automatic? I will use the pump in an offrid house. power cut is quite often so I don't want to go into the cave to press the button everytime when the power is back on. that's why I asked, thanks in advanced.

What if you connect the new pump to mains, you can hear it running, but the display stays dark? (no lights turn on)? Is the pump defective? I just bought it and spend several hours installing it!?! Please tell me there's a simple fix.

Buona sera, volevo un’informazione per quanto riguarda la pompa. Nel dettaglio espongo il caso e ringrazio per l'eventuale risposta. Succede che a impianto del riscaldamento spento come da ordinanze comunale, i vari termosifoni situate nei diversi ambienti emettono rumori del tipo di circolazione di acqua, mentre dove è situata la pompa il fruscio sembra essere della corrente. Questo succede se la valvola dei termosifoni viene posta in posizione da3/4 in poi, mentre se viene impostata al 1/2 nulla viene percepito. Su indicazione del caldaista telefonicamente, mi chiede di abbassare la levetta nera del salvavita che interrompe la corrente e anche i rumori dei termosifoni, lo stesso non mi ha voluto dire il motivo di questo fatto. Il dubbio che mi viene è se il problema riguarda il termostato oppure l'orologio in funzione impostato per l'accensione e lo spegnimento. La pompa è una Grundfos Magna1. Chiedo se è normale questa situazione. Grazie.
